Here are some of the famous fairs and festivals in the Himachal are the  Lavi Trade

Himachal Winter Carnival

To publicize the culture of Himachal Pradesh, a winter carnival is celebrated every year
in Manali Himachal Pradesh. It is the trend of Winter Carnival since the last
three decades, the festival has become more legendary and glorious. All along
this festival, the ski slopes of Manali are infested by adventure passionate. Another
major interesting part of the festival is the beauty contest commonly known as the
"Winter Queen" and "Mr/Miss Manali".A parade also starts from the Hadimba
Devi temple. The complete area of Manali mall road looks like a beautiful carnival.
Right from folk dance to amusing parody, a lot of things can be found in this festival.

Ice skating carnival

Shimla is the best place for the great natural ice skating rink in Asia. That is why it is
Pierre Panjar, Dhauladarand Himalayas, the city is blessed with the admirable weather to
conduct full-fledged winter sports for visiting tourists. Ice Skating Carnival has handled
just the exact right place to host Ice Skating Carnival. Being in nearest to Shivalik,
and properly managed by the Skating club of Shimla, they are successfully running
the program since last 50- 60 years. The carnival is celebrated with a lot of radiance
and glory in Himachal Pradesh and has a huge crowd of visitors each year.

Sazo
The most foreseen festival of Himachal Pradesh, Sazo is celebrated to bid adieu
To the divinity of the village. At the time of this festival, the doors of the temples remain
Sealed but the cart of god and goddesses remain open. It is considered that on this
day, various deities address to paradise for a short nap. The ritual shows that God
Showers pleasant things from heaven on its devotees. Therefore, the people in
the village wash and clear the floors of the temples to attain God's blessings. All
over the festival villagers are filled with great happiness and joy.
On this special day, priests of the temples are deeply adored as they are considered
as the characteristic of the deity. In some villages, priests of the temple go from one
house to another just to sniff the aroma. Villages give the priest a caring reception as
regard, they also give them food grains and gifts, a small tradition is known as the
Deacher and Halva, Chilta, Deokhel, Poltus, Rice, Vegetables, Meat, and Pulses are
some of the dishes are made by the villagers on this occasion.

Trance music festival (Parvati Valley)

It is the most popular trance music festival in India. Every time Out of 100 seats
 40% of seats are reserved for the women travellers. Parvati Valley is situated in Manali,
Himachal Pradesh and the most popular here is - The trance music festival also known
as Megica festival which is celebrated here every year. Having successfully completed 2
programs, this Trance music festival is considered as one of the biggest trance events
of the season. Standard as one of the extremely large Indian trance festivals, Parvati
climax has been successful for sundry years This event brings together the trip of a lifetime
-  with crazy multicoloured music and amazing natural scenic beauty. There is a large
number of cafes in Parvati valley and Kasol.

Kullu- Dussehra

Dussehra festival is the well known worldwide mega Dussehra festival celebrated in
the month of October in Himachal Pradesh, India. Wherein more than 5-6 lakh people
visit the fair from all over the world. In Dhalpur maidan it is celebrated every year.
Dussehra at Kullu starts from the tenth day of the rising moon, i.e. on 'Vijay Dashmi'
day and last for seven days. Its history accelerate to the 17th century when regional
King Jagat Singh outfitted a deity of Raghunath on his throne as a mark of penance.
After this, god Raghunath was disclosed as the ruling deity of the Valley. The State
the government has allotted the status of the International festival to the Kullu Dussehra,
which drew attention to visitors in large numbers.
It is one of the most famous festival in Himachal, Celebrated every year in the month of October in Kullu.

Lavi trade fair in Himachal

The very famous International Lavi Trade fair is one of the exclusive examples of
the cultural, social, glorious, economic legacy and history of Himachal Pradesh. It is
the large trade fair of the greater Himalayas, which is celebrated at Rampur Bushahr,
it begins from 11 to 14 November every year, it is about 130 km from Shima, the
capital city of Himachal Pradesh. Rampur Bushahr, which is generally known as the
gateway of  Kinnaur district ( The land of Gods) is placed on the bank of river Sutlej
and is one of the oldest city on Hindustan Tibet road.
This Lavi trade fair is celebrated every year in Rampur Bushar, Himachal Pradesh.It is the biggest fair in Himalaya.

Minjar fair Chamba
This festival begins from the last Sunday of July, and continues for seven days, namely
the Minjar Fair is a leisure carnival held in Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh. Known
to be a real amusing fiesta, This Minjar festival comes as a welcome break to the resident
and tourists both who bunch the region during the fair. Celebrated with great excitement
the fair comes as a culturally binding force as it totally modernizes the ethnic spirit of the
people of this region.
Minjar its names came out from the maize flour, the Minjar Fair finds a lot of folklore and
fiction attached to it. It is said that an old lady wanted to meet the king of Chamba. Too
poor to buy a beautiful present for the king, the lady took a maize flower as a gift along
and gave it to the king. The king was so impressed by the simplicity and love of the lady
that he announced the day to be a feast as maize day or Minjar day. Since then, the
day commences being celebrated with great fanfare cheering show and pomp. This fest
nowadays celebrated in the form of Minjar fair at Chamba.

It is the famous worldwide fair celebrated every year in Chamba, Himachal Pradesh. The name minjar is derived from maize flour.There is a beautiful story behind this fair.
